Area Five First Fanfiction Challenge

Area Five is a new fanfiction archive community for Southern Vampire Mysteries and True Blood stories.  If you used Ericnorthman.net, My Vamp Fiction, The Writer's Coffee Shop, or ones like that then you will know how to use this one.

Since Area Five is new and they are looking to grow their members and thereby story base, they decided to host a writing challenge.  Therefore, here's there very first challenge ... 

When Human meets Fangs

We have all read the books, or seen the show. We know how Sookie met her first vampire. Bill Compton walked into Merlotte's one night; opening up a whole new world for Sookie, and the rest as they say is history.

Their challenge is to rewrite history, or in some cases create it.

For Area Five's first challenge, they want stories of humans/non vampires meeting a vampire for the first time. It is not limited to just Sookie. You can write stories about about human Eric meeting his first vampire, or how Pam met Eric, for example. You are not restricted to canon either. How about vampire Sookie returning to Bon Temps for the first time since she was turned and meeting human Bill.

The Rules are simple.
Human meets vampire.
Characters from both Southern Vampire Mysteries and True Blood are allowed.
1000 word minimum, no maximum.
All stories must be complete by November 27th.
All ratings allowed. But, please remember we are an adult fan fiction archive.
All fics must have a beta (no exceptions)
You may enter as many stories as you like. Collaborations are welcome.

Stories must be published on Area Five. 

Club Dead Fanfiction Challenge

This challenge was originally posted in the SVM Addicts Take On: Club Dead and True Blood Season 3 post. Created by the SVM Addicts. The challenge is simple--before the end of True Blood Season 3--create a one-shot inspired by the show or by Club Dead which is where this season sort of begins.
