I think it is hilariously funny. Sookie is feisty, Eric is sexy and sweet. They are hormonal teens with emotions a bit wild. Their awkward dance to get to know each other and be together is alternatley sweet and laugh out loud. They each have non-traditional families. Zigs has created some great original characters, too. --Northwomn
Carnival of Rust (SVM) by MalannaThis story sucks you in and won't let you go! The story is told through flashbacks/memories and is totally unique, I haven't read anything yet that is comparable. Plus Malanna always links songs with her chapters that match the mood/events perfectly. Check it out, I know that you will love it!

If you are part of the group that's waiting for the release of Clash of the Titans next week (Release the Kraken!), then you are going to love this fic! In her first multi-chapter story, SVMaddict has found a way to merge our fav SVM characters with Greek Mythology. The setting is modern day Greece and Sookie's life gets a bit of sprucing up as a few ancient gods meddle. Go Team Zeus! --Sapfirerose
This fic takes place after the bombing in Rhodes. In this spin, instead of running & blaming vampire politics for the drama in her life, Sookie realizes that humans are to blame & perhaps she needs to stop running from the supernatural world. What? Sookie growing up!?! I know! It's very well written & I adore the scene between Eric & Sookie in chapter 2. This is what should have happened in ATD. --Seasonblogs
Sassy Sookie, snarky Pam, mischeivious Amelia and (of course) arrogant Eric get together for some body swapping mayhem. I had more than a few laugh out loud moments with this. --Janofarc

Need (SVM) by Sheba6086
It's an Eric and Sookie pairing, vampire human, rated M and largely canon. Why I like it so much:
1. Incredibly imaginative plotlines, stuff you just would never think of and it works so well.
2. Excellent combination of action, angst, romance and lemons. The romantic pieces are extremely well done.
3. Lemons fit the the plot not the other way around!!! And they are not 'sex manual' type scenes or full of cringing cliche. The amount of lemon added to the recipe is perfect.
4. Fantastic imagery
5. A staggering amount of research has gone into this story and it really shows.
6. The flower messages - you'll have to read it to find out what I mean :)
7. Very cool original characters
8. Pam plays a bit part and I love Pam
9. Nice long chapters and lots of 'em
10. It's complete so no waiting for updates

BonTempsBaby's completed cannon, post-FDTW fic (written before DAG). 1,000+ reviews! Sookie and Eric ACTUALLY get together. Of course, it's not all easy... many try to get in the way of their happiness... (i.e that smarmy Victor Madden). Not Sir Robert, though. Robert is one of my fave OCs (original characters) in our fanficdom. He's up there with Seastarr08's Max and Meg2's Cadel. And old friend and "brother" of Eric's, Robert is a Knights Templar. Does that peak your curiousity? It should! Please also read the un-complete Addicted to Love - sequel to Pour Some Sugar On Me. --TVgirl.Nicole
This is my go to happy story. Linsday is the master at what she does, and she has created a true winner here. Nerdstud Eric is like my dream date. He's so adorkable and sweet and sexy all at the same time. Her take on Sookie is also an interesting one that I really enjoy. I always go back and re-read this when I'm feeling down about anything. If you want something that is really sweet, really creative and just an all around great read, then Studybuddies is the one for you!
