For those who are part of the Twitterverse, by now you've seen a Follow Friday or #FF tweet. Follow Friday is sort of a game in Twitter where people recommend and call attention to their friends or followers by telling others to follow them.Fanfictastic Friday is a similar concept, but instead of people you will recommend fanfiction! All you have to do is fill out this simple form to shout out fics you are reading and let us know why you enjoy it!

I have a second Fanfictastic Friday story to recommend: Ericizmine's Bored to Death. Classic Eric, and the Sookie we all wish was in the books...and Adele is saved to grace us with her wit and wisdom. What if Sook never got into a relationship with Bill and was never hurt by him? What if Eric got to her first? Oh, how things had changed :)
1000 years and boredom was taking its toll on Eric. But a breath of sunshine walks into his bar trying to clear her brother who is a suspect in two murders.
Sookie is unaffected by vampires. Just because they can easily hurt or kill her does not mean they will. She ends up teaming up with the intrigued Sheriff to nab a killer with her telepathy. When she overhears the killer's thoughts, Eric takes her and her spunky, wise, and equally accepting grandmother, Adele, into his protective custody. They learn that their very own family tipped off the Queen of Louisiana to Sookie's "special" talents, Hadley, wayward drug-addled cousin who has been turned by the Queen and is homesick.
Sookie offers to use her telepathic skills for Eric for the mere price of a backrub a week :) They learn of Bill's attempts to use her skills for his own advancement and foils his efforts. She is still brought to the Queen's attentions, but by Eric, who manages a very lucrative contract for Sookie. She already proves her worth by uncovering a plot to take over Louisiana by another Kingdom.
While the drama and mystery of the fangbanger killer lurks in the background, what is in the forefront is the evolution of Eric and Sookie's relationship, and of course his characteristic denial that he couldn't possibly be falling for a human. That would certainly be a cure for boredom!
