This My SVM Addiction blog post is brought to you today by the letters DITF and CCC and the number .... 2.  Today's theme for today's news is Spoilers. I got some intel on a couple of spoilers that you may be interested in.  If not, skip ahead the the Fic Updates and More.

• Dead in the Family detailed spoilers was posted today on Live Journal.  It's in the "ontd_trublud community" and you have to be a member of it to be able to view it. It talks in detail about the Eric and Sookie and the sex. And there's a bit of descriptions on what happens with the other characters and more on the sex. And even throws in a bit on some new characters and ends with wishing for a little bit more ... sex.  lol!  If you like to read spoilers, I recommend checking it out.
  
• Fic Spoilers:  So here's something new I'm trying out.  If a writer gives me a spoiler about a fic chapter they are going to post in the near future, then I'll add the spoiler here. (Hint: You would typically use this if you didn't do a Teaser on Monday and know you will update before the next round.)  So here's the spoiler I have for you today ...
  
  Comic Con Connections by Lubadub Spoiler:  There will be a Coachella chapter this weekend - without the annoying Kate Bostic! [About the fic: "Have you ever hated someone so much you just had to have sex with them?" Arrogant Actor Eric gets under Sookie's skin... and into her pants. AH/AU]

Waiting sure sucks! And waiting for Alan Ball's fanfiction called True Blood to start after all the teasers he's been sending is like standing still on a bed of firerocks! Did you see promo? Here's the link to it on YouTube.  This image (and v-cut shot) is a screen grab from the video.

Out of all the promos, I think this was the meatiest yet. Any theories? This last video is definitely off the path of the books. What do you guys think?

Northman's Off Rivington is realized in real life! Today, Skarsgardnews.com posted pics of Alexander Skarsgard at Tribeca Film 'Metropia' Cocktails at City Hall, where he met Robert DeNiro. If you have not read the fic, or remember the part, in Chapter 15 ... Eric's friend "Bob" opens up his restaurant so that Sookie and the gang could grab some breakfast.  What's even more fitting is that Zigster posted the epilogue to this classic fic just 3 days ago.  And now we have a visual.

This week's recap includes three SVM Addict Confessions by  Smittenkitten, Northwoman and Lubadub and today's Fanfictastic Friday reviews.  There are some great recommendations in there.  My next confessions include A-Redhead-Thing, CatieMak, Hearttorn, Dazed Rose, and Missus T.  If you'd like to join the collection of addicts, let me know.

Confessions of a SVM Addict: Lubadub

Blogger Note: I first met Lubadub on Twitter when I got bit by the banner bug and was looking for fics to create banners for. She took the bait first and 'Danger is a Dame' became my first banner. If you haven't started reading her stories and you enjoy a good lemon or two, I say you get to her fanfiction profile asap (well ... after you read this post) and sit back and enjoy. So without further ado .. *breaks out the trumpet fanfare* hear ye hear ye .. lemon royalty is in our mist! Let me introduce you to the Princess of Citrus, the Countess of Kink ... Hi my name is Lubadub (aka Lub_a_dub on twitter since some jerk stole my penname) and I'm a SVM addict ...

What was your first fanfiction story?

At this point, I can't really remember, but I've got it narrowed down to two. It was either House Of Flesh On Fire by FarDareisMai2 or Let Love In by Terri Botta. I used to read/write fanfiction when I was in high school with a bunch of friends in a few different fandoms but stopped when my grouping of friends changed, like it does when you're surrounded by hormonal teenagers. When I got into TB, I got addicted to Eric Northman and started searching around the internet for more between seasons. When I came across fanfiction.net, I remembered going there the first time around. I didn't really like the stuff on the True Blood listing so wandered over to the book page. I was hooked instantly.
