Updated Fic > Chapter 7: Normally i just do a summery but today I will give a little excerpt.
"Sookie darling, it is so good to see you. You smell absolutely divine you naughty girl. What have you been up too?" He gently set me down leaving his hands on my shoulders and looking down at me.
I blush a brighter red than my dress. "Damn vampires and their damn sense of smell."
"SOOKIE! SUCH LANGUAGE!" he mock gasps.
I lean forward and lower my voice so that hopefully only Russell can hear and say, "He owns a Shelby Mustang, I couldn't help myself. I have never actually even seen one let alone gotten to start it up."
"Oh, does he know about your little affair with his pretty little Shelby?" He asks, winking at me.

Updated Fic > Chapter 7: Normally I just do a description, but I thought today I would do a brief excerpt from the chapter in the hopes of ya'll trying me out.
"What is taking her so long?" I watch silently as Eric paces the very large suite. We had arrived back at the Hotel Camilla to await Nan Flanagan, spokeswoman for the VRA and general pain in our collective asses, for a debriefing on all of the events that have occurred over the last three days.
"She will get here when she gets here Eric. Behaving like a petulant child is not going to make her come any faster. Need I remind you that you are well over a thousand years old, act your age. There is no need for you to be so… restless," Godric says lightly. I know he is just trying to put things in perspective for Eric, make him see that patience is a virtue and all that, but with Eric you have to use a more gentle touch. Otherwise you're liable to get your fingers bitten off.
