What was your first fanfiction story?
At this point, I can't really remember, but I've got it narrowed down to two. It was either House Of Flesh On Fire by FarDareisMai2 or Let Love In by Terri Botta. I used to read/write fanfiction when I was in high school with a bunch of friends in a few different fandoms but stopped when my grouping of friends changed, like it does when you're surrounded by hormonal teenagers. When I got into TB, I got addicted to Eric Northman and started searching around the internet for more between seasons. When I came across fanfiction.net, I remembered going there the first time around. I didn't really like the stuff on the True Blood listing so wandered over to the book page. I was hooked instantly.What are typical characteristics of the stories you like to read?
I'm really picky about reading canon stories since the bond is so often abused or written so poorly, it makes me want to rip my hair out. I've got a strong love for AH fics, especially ones with characters who are beautifully fleshed out while maintaining a lot of their canon characteristics. Of course, it's always fun to flip things on their heads every now and then. Anyone who's read my Danger series,[self pimp warning] knows I enjoy a softer version of Eric and a really bold Sookie. I'm a hopeless romantic, but I will suffer through (read: enjoy every minute of) angst.I love smut, but there are so many out there who don't get it right. While my smut tends to get a little descriptive, Terminal Attraction is a prime example of that, [second round of self pimping] I do love a well written scene that leaves it up to the imagination. The perfect example of that is The Amateur/The Expert by seastarr08. She's my partner in one liners and smut; we've already written one fic together and are currently working on another for the Dead Pan contest. On the other end of the smut spectrum is txone, whose delicious diction choices and explicit descriptions get me so hot and bothered, I need to molest my boyfriend immediately.
I think the upcoming season 3 of True Blood is getting to me because recently, I've had a lot of love for Alcide/Sookie pairings. I'll read pretty much anything that puts the two of them together. In fact, two of the fics (3 if you count All Their Love) on my list of 10 below are A/S pairings.

Since you gave me the nickname the Countess of Kink, I have to recommend my favorite kinky smut fic series by txone. It starts with Coming To Your Senses, (may I recommend the Xtended version) Party of Three!, Party of Four!, and ends with the multi-chapter fic Bliss Comes In Threes (which I have on good authority, by txone herself, will be updated soon/eventually). These fics are not for the light of heart; she is the Queen of amazing sex scenes. I just said to seastarr08 on twitter that her fics need to come with replacement panties, batteries for your sex toys, or condoms for safe sex with your man. Now while these fuckhot fics are chock full of amazing kinky sex, they also highlight the strong relationship between Sookie and Eric. It's not just smut/kink without love; the fact is that they are madly in love with each other and trust each other explicitly, which is something that a lot of smut misses the mark on. Plus, Tammy (@tetxone) is one of the nicest people on Twitter!!------------------------------------------------------------------------
