FFn Tech News:  Because my Twitter account is linked to Fanfiction.net, I just wanted to give you a heads up that I believe that the site is experiencing some problems.  Not only do I see alert (to my inbox) and feed discrepancies .. but the site is also having problems with traffic count. I suspect they've refreshed their server and trying to get everything back online or something.  So ... that's sort of what's going on there.

Also, for those who post their stories on Fandomfiction.com and found out that the site was down.  I got word fro Pixiegiggles that the site is back up.  She's on vacay right now so the site may be a little wonky for a couple more days but it will be back and fully operational when she gets back.  (This also means that the True Blood Viewing Party Room should be back by the 11th.)

Fic Spoilers

•  Pimp time ... Lubadub, my Countess of Kink, has teamed up with Seastarr08 to create Lubstarr. They have teamed up before to write stories before, and now they have a profile to go with it.  They are currently working on a new story that will chronicle the history of Eric and Pam, appropriately called Eric and Pam's Excellent Adventure .  Here's a couple of teases that Lubadub sent me tease 1 and tease 2. There were a couple others I think, but these were the two I received. Maybe if you coax Lubstarr you can get more.
  
  There's a part two to Eric and Pam's Excellent Adventure, Lubadub and Seastarr08 are also looking for writers who would like to contribute chapters to the story.  If you are interested, contact them.

Similar to the Four Start General Ranked Fics idea, recommend fics that you deem to have a sort of sexy and smutty quality. Porn with or without plots are welcome. SVM Addicts Take On: Alcide:  This post by the SVM Addicts, combines some fanfiction stories that feature Alcide, a few sexy sexy photos of Joe Manganiello, and a poll to have fun with the fact that Alcide will be making his much anticipated appearance on True Blood.  Check out the SVM Addicts Take On: Alcide. • The Countess of Kink, Lubadub is writing! Aaaaand .. it's SVM!  Check out this tease for Dixie ... yup, as in Danger in Dixie, the sequel to Danger is a Dame. Both in the Danger Series. She said Author Eric just started talking to her. But wait folks ... there's more!  Thanks to an inspiring Tumblr account sent around last night ... Pilot E popped up too.  So when I checked in with her last night, she wrote 3 pages of lemons and plotted out the next chapter for Terminal Attraction.

• In a follow-up post to a dark fic that schafer is writing, she gave me the go ahead to spill more.  So brace yourself folks ... she's writing an Evil Eric.  Angst lovers, I'm thinking this one is for you. Those who prefer Saint Eric, Goody Sookie, and HEA's .. you've been warned.  I'll have more on this story, She Wished For Death, in my next post.

SVM Addicts Take On: Alcide Herveaux

• Up first, is a tease from LindsayK for Never Say Never. A little music and dancing in the kitchen. *le sigh* Linds posted this update late last night ... so get ta' readin'!

• Now, last night I had an interesting conversation with @danu_schafer and found out that she's schafer of Good Girls & Bad Boys and 28 Days Later. Well she told me that she's working on something new, and while I haven't gotten a go ahead to share ... let's just say that it's obsessively dark and sounds very interesting.

•  OK .. one more tease from the dark/angsty fic side, I know many of you are following Healing Blood so here's a tease from Bellawriter7.

• Now .. let me lighten the Fic Spoiler section up a bit. Do you recall a couple of weeks ago when I was excited about a little ditty from Youbetta that involved a character we were calling "Whore Eric"? Well she finished and posted the first chapter and the story is called In for a Penny, Down for a Pounding.  A virtual citrus orchard! For those of us wanting chapter two, we have to wait a bit. YBG said that she needs to update Five Alarm and Saved by the Bus first.

Blogger note: Have you met BonTempsCutie? She's my other Michigan gal and a sweetie pie that I met through my lovely vice that is Twitter. Like me, she's now a part of the SVM Addicts who went from being just readers of fanfiction to dabbling in writing by entering into the Dead Pan Contest. Her story was With Ferengis Like This, a parody of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I'm a trekkie and especially a fan of this series, so I was happy that BTC wrote this one. And a little fic spoiling on the side (because that's what I do), BonTempsCutie said she wants to continue it! Woot! OK ... enough of my pimping pimpery. What was your first fanfiction story you read?

Bonds by FarDareisMai2. I had just finished reading books 1-9 for the third time and was interested in finding out more about Quinn. I know, I know, but I was wondering if there was more to the story. After all, Sookie did have sex with him! She didn't even have sex with Alcide and she spent way more time with him. Anyway, since Charlaine Harris has written some short stories I thought that maybe she wrote one about Quinn, kind of like the Hadley/Waldo story. When I googled 'Sookie and Quinn' I found fanfiction. The first site I found was the True Blood Wiki site. Under fanfiction I found the oh-so-intriguing category of Vampwich. I followed FarDareisMai2 over to ff.net and have been reading voraciously ever since.
