Alcide's ghost is a constant throughout the story and even though we all want Sookie to be with Pirate Eric, her life with Alcide was so happy and beautiful that you almost forget about Pirate Eric. Almost.

In this story, Sookie is a super uptight, ambitious businesswoman who has a thing for the very-well-to-do Mr. Bill Compton. She ends up working with Alcide's company on a project for Bill. So how can he steal the show if he is part of the main pairing? The sparks fly when these two get together. Alcide is unlike anyone Sookie has ever let herself be with. So focused on the goal she has set herself, will she realize that she has a great thing right in front of her?
Leap of Faith by Missus_T
OK, I'm (Sapfirerose) sneaking this one on the list. This fic is definitely NOT an Alcide story. And more importantly, he's a blip that pops in around chapter five of story. I also want to mention that this great story does fine on its own without Mr. Herveaux. So why on earth do I think he at least stole a chapter? First, I'm using the term "stole" loosely. In the fifth chapter we meet Sookie's ex. Tara calls him the Cajun and he enters in a blaze and goes out the same way. I haven't been able to convince the Missus to do an outtake of his and Sookie story yet, but read chapters 4 and 5 (and I think he's in the outtake) and tell me that you don't want to know more about Cajun Alcide.
My Last First Date by our LindsayK
This is a story about Alcide and Sookie. So how can he steal the show if he is part of the main pairing? Well it's in the writing. What Lindsay has done here is to give us a different look at human Alcide. He very deeply loves Sookie, something that happened quickly and unexpectedly for him. She fell for him too, quickly, and it’s easy to see why.
Saints and Sinners by EricIzMine
In this fic, Eric and Alcide are FBI agents on the hot trail of a serial killer. How does Alcide steals the show? He and Eric make a good team, always covering for each other. And on his personal life, he's a caring father to two adorable boys, even if his wife tries to make it difficult.
Secrets That Kill by SlackerDee
In this story Jason comes home with a friend, Alcide, who just happens to be the man Sookie has been having sex dreams about. This story has a murder mystery, and some character mystery too since Sookie has no idea her brother is now an FBI agent. How can he steal the show if he's part of the main pairing? This Alcide is the man, seriously. He's the first guy Sookie's been interested in that isn't afraid of her brother, so the tension between Sookie and Alcide is fantastic. In every chapter you're most interested in what Alcide does, not only in regards to Sookie, but with the mystery and FBI stuff too. In short, he captivates me. Also, in 8 chapters they've only just kissed. Three cheers for slow build!
Terminal Attraction by Lubadub
This mention is not a mistake. Yes this story it totally about Pilot Eric and a flight attendant named Sookie, and by no means can anyone steal the show from Pilot E. But let me tell you how Alcide steals the show a little bit. There are a few chapters where you will love Alcide, Pilot E's perfect wingman. And yes the pun is intended. The conversations he and Eric have about women are hilarious and while he absolutely does not interfere with Pilot E's thunder, you won't forget Alcide in this story either.

Wow. Thanks for the introduction. Loved that interview clip! Can't wait to see these two together. He's even hotter than the Alcide I had in my head, and my Alcide was pretty hot.
