FANFICTION NEWS
- Author of the Month Interview: Last month the Fangreaders LJ group started a new monthly interview by featuring Missus T. For March the group landed an interview with FarDareisMai2, who discussed what inspires her to write and future story plans.
- Fanfictastic Fridays: A few days ago I announced some changes to the Daily Updates posts. Those changes are only for the Daily Posts that are supposed to happen every day. Fanfictastic Friday will go on as usual. So on Friday there's a Daily Post AND a Fanfictastic Friday post.
I did, however, make one change a few weeks ago. I've always tried to post the articles with at least 10 recs even if that included me waiting later at night, or having to do a bunch of recs myself. So now, I will wait to post Fanfictastic Friday recommendations until I receive at least 10 posts. So if this is a post you look forward to seeing, please help me get more recs in during the week. That said ... I have over 10 recs now and will post Fanfictastic Friday after this post! Woot!

THE LEMON TART AWARDS
The nomination period ends this weekend. So be sure to make your nominations for favorite lemony scenes and fics.
The Lemon Tart Awards (hosted by the Fangreaders Chat Room and Fangreaders LJ) is the first awards feature for the SVM fandom. Kudos to the leaders of the Fangreaders group for taking on this task. This kind of thing happens all over in other fanfiction categories (check out Awards News from thetwilightawards.com). Let's help make the first awards feature in SVM successful and who knows, maybe more will come!

-- Happily Never After: Public Vote and Judges vote are going on at the same time. There are a couple more one-shots to read and voting ends on March 15th. Check out the entries and vote.
- Current Contests: I have all the current contests listed under the Contests section of this blog. Included are two new contests! One should peak the interests of those who love all things vampire and supernatural. While the other contest is strictly for those with slashy ideas. Check it out.

TRUE BLOOD NEWS

How could I NOT do a News and Tidbit post and not mention this video that was releasedaround the same time as the Paley Fest. *snickers*
- Speaking of the Paley Fest ... there were a lot of interesting videos that contained interviews, and more importantly spoilers for True Blood. If you were like me and had to deal with a lot of real life stuff while the goodies was pooring over the net. Here are a couple of videos and interviews to check out: True Blood Paley Fest from The Vault (there are two parts), and Access Hollywood interviews with ASkars and a couple other actors. Some good stuff.
- Speaking of TB Spoilers ... Another thing I didn't get a chance to report on since I was MIA was the new HBO True Blood Blog: Inside True Blood Blog. Yeah, I know we all have our own TB Spoiler sources have been reporting all things TB since the beginning .. Sookieverseblog, Loving True Blood in Dallas, and TrueBloodNet.com, to name a few. It just warms my heart to see a cult show like True Blood recognize that the fans are all over it, and want to provide us with some inside scoop. So check out the new spoiler blog that has inside Alan Ball kind of info that the other can not provide
