Current Contests

>> The Age of Eric Contest (Entries accepted until August 6)

Summary: The inspiration for this contest came from the fact that Eric Northman and his gracious plenty have been roaming the planet for over a thousand years. A Thousand years filled with incredible time periods to explore and history to tell. Yet, in the fanfiction world, Eric has stayed mostly put in the 21st Century. The hosts for The Age of Eric Contest felt that this needed to change.

Brothers in Arms - When the Civil War breaks out, Eric finds himself fighting on the opposite side of his brother.

Expelled from the Garden of Eden - How will Eric leave his mark on the Renaissance? A sample fic for the Age of Eric contest.


Restoration - A melancholic Eric wanders Restoration London, but a chance encounter changes everything for him. AH Rated M - Mature sexual themes and content.

Soiled Dove of Deadwood - Eric trades the East for the West, looking for the thrill of blood and the excitement promised there. Will he find more than he bargained for in one dirty mining town? AU.

Take Me - Eric follows a telepath from the ballrooms of a post-war London to the farms of Kenya as decadence becomes the favorite pastime of the rich in the early 1920s. AU.

The Thrill of Creative Effort - Eric and Pam spend some time in the South of France, around the turn of the century, which leads to a future revelation.


The Viking and the Rose - A lusty, bawdy tale set in Elizabethan England which concerns the life of one Eric Northman; soldier of fortune from over the seas.


The Viking and the Virgin Queen - Eric in the Elizabethan Age. What vampire could resist royal virgin blood? The question is, could Elizabeth I resist Eric's charms? Read to find out.

>> Seven Deadly Sins Contest (Entries accepted until August 15)

Summary:  You know 'em: lust,wrath, greed, envy, pride, sloth, and gluttony. Well this M rated contest challenges you to submit your best sinful one/shot featuring Eric and Sookie.  The more sin the better. Among the other rules it states that you must have at least one of the other 6 sins outside of lust.




Entries:  There are currently, no entries for this contest. If you are a writer, consider promoting this contest in your next A/N to help encourage people to enter. Below are sample fics for this contest.

And We Lean In - Self-proclaimed nerd and new kid, Sookie Stackhouse is paired with NerdStud Eric Northman to be her lab partner in AP Bio. How long before they're exploring more than their lab assignments? AH/OOC/AU with a side of tasty lemons.

I Am A Wicked Child - Sookie is quite the little sinner with a lusty crush on Father Northman. One can only imagine what sort of things she might say to him in confession. AH/AU/OOC with more tasty lemons. Yum, yum. Oh, and this is an O/S.

Movie Night - Things have calmed down and Eric and Sookie have settled into a normal relationship. Saturday has become their "movie night" date night, but what happens when it's Eric's turn to pick the movie? Set post DitF. AU & tons of citrus.
