>> A Change Is Gonna Come by Sarifina85
"A great way to soothe our SVM addiction. The first continuation of book 10, and a damn good one!
After Dead In The Family lots of changes are coming. Expected and unexpected ones:
- Sookie becomes more mature - a long expected thing;
- Eric is all vampire-viking caveman again - not some puffy-fluffy loverboy - he puts Bill in the hospital, that particular update really made my day;
- A particular scene that will relief a bit the sorrow of those who regret Godric's decision;
- Many are MIA... New ones enters the story.
Very well written!
All the CH's 11th book might be, just probably better.
Hope I wrote just enough spoilers of this story to make you curious enough to start reading this - then you will be hooked. *giggles* The story is in progress, with a great update rate - about once at every couple of days." -- Kira Kiralina
>> Alcide in Wonderland by ericizmine
"One of my favorite favorite stories is Saints & Sinners and this is the Alcide point of view to that story. It tells more of their story with the same humor and intelligence as the original. It is another win to me. Bill & Quinn are still evil douches, another plus." -- Northwoman
>> Buried Alive By Love by makesmyheadspin
"Buried Alive by Love is another story that blends TB with SVM, and then some. It poses the question of what if Sookie went to talk to Eric after the bombing (in season 2) and ended up sleeping with him? It quickly turns into more sex for our favorite pair.
I absolutely love this story not only because Sookie and Eric are together, but because it actually makes season 2 more tolerable, because Eric has a bigger part. It draws on all elements from season 2, 3, and the books. Including one of my favorite plot twists and endings.
This a fantastic story. If you aren't reading it, you really need to be. Especially if you have TB issue." -- SlackerDee
>> Dark Sorrow by murgatroid-98 (Carpathian Series)
"I have zero knowledge of the Carpathian Series, but I have 100% knowledge of a good story! I loved reading this and truly enjoyed the relationship and friendship of Deborah and Belle. Also loved all the cool powers these vamps could do like shift into animals and how they search for their life's mate - so awesome! It's a great read!" -- SouthernLady23
>> Death Do Us Part by June Smith
"This story is truly a delight. It has a definite dark humour about it, and features the Sookie and Eric from the books, in all their flawed glory. This fic is set post DITF. Rather, Sam and Sookie are travelling to see Sam's family for the wedding, when predictably, they meet with typical challenges in Sookie's life - dead bodies and plots. June Smith (who also wrote Dead Dread) doesn't try to introduce plots that are tied up in a page or two, with Sookie watching from the sidelines as someone else deals with trouble. This Sookie gets her hands dirty, and if you like that quality in CH's books, you'll love Death Do Us Part." -- peppermintyrose
>> Do Something That Scares You Everyday by beatlechicksteph
"First of all Sookie is in Italy ...and well that's the main reason I like it. Lols. Here Sookie is a teacher on a boarding school where she has a certain roommate who also happens to be a Viking. Don't be fooled by the roommate's long hair cause it a HE. Yes folks it's Eric freaking Northman! Eric is obsessed..... and wait a minute ....he is not obsessed with Sookie. *snort* He is obsessed with Alexander the great. He always takes his sweet time when he teaches his student about Alexander. Eric does not want a roommate and will do anything he can to drive them out. So far with his Ninja sword skills he has driven out 3 of his roommates. NOW both Eric and Sookie has to accept each other as a roommate and also as colleague. So do you see why you need to read this!!! So whachha waiting for click the button and read, also don't forget to give it some love ;)" -- smittenskitten
>> Drop Dead Gorgeous by Citrox
"This story picks up where Dead and Gone leaves off. We find Sookie recovering from the Fairy War when she receives some very unexpected news. What follows is a beautifully written, well-plotted tale involving Eric and Sookie and a wonderful cast of fully realized characters (some you know from the books and others created for this story.)
This is a first time author and you won't believe how amazing the story is. She's just completed Chapter 78 (which concludes Part 4), so now is a great time to start reading. It only takes one chapter to get hooked--trust me!" -- IndigoEnchantment
>> Dying Love by mavrosal
"Why do I like this story? Because it has three of my favorite characters; Eric, Sookie and Godric....or maybe because I wrote it. *grin*" -- mavrosal
>> Eric by DeeDeeINFJ
"This story must have been recommended before! But the great interview CatieMak gave to this site about her fan fiction tastes (if you haven't read it you so should) reminded me how much I love it. Basically it is the SVM stories told from Eric's perspective. DeeDee gives us a great insight into how the Viking saw all the things going on around him, and how he *really* felt about Sookie. Ongoing fic." -- Alison at Northman Maille
>> New Beginnings by onefee27
"I love this story where Eric & Sookie meet in high school. Eric gets into trouble and ends up in prison. He & Sookie meet 10 years later and Sookie has a 10 year old son, Alex. Eric has turned over a new leaf and has a chance for a New Beginning. I love this and there are outtakes, also. I confess I am beta for this story because I love it so much." -- Northwoman
>> Then As Now by Zhivago3
"I have only just started this story and already I am enjoying it so much. I started reading it because I was writing a 'Let them eat birthday cake story' and wanted to get an insight into the birthday authors I wasn't familiar with. It's a very fresh concept, it's still Sookie and Eric but it travels back and forth in time, all human with a sci fi edge. Complete." -- Alison at Northman Maille
>> When Does it Get Easier to be Me? by Kristen Elizabeth
"This is my favourite new find!! I love the collaboration that Kristen writes as Norcrisp76 (along with Lanyap and Tradermare) called Wife Swap and I have been dying to get to this story for a while. I am 13 chapters in and it's great, be warned though, the beginning is very Sookie and Bill, but she is obviously attracted to Eric and things do happen. I have been assured that it is Viking all the way later on. Now that should be a good recommendation, how good would a story have to be to get me reading Sookie and Bill???? Well then. In progress." -- Alison at Northman Maille
