The Daily Fanfiction Updates is a newsletter for SVM fans on information about what is happening in the SVM and True Blood Fanfiction World. - Dying for Daylight: So the SVM franchise has really taken off. A tv show, comic book and now ... a video game called Dying for Daylight! I found this on SookieStackhouse.com. Apparently the game, which is said to release in January 2011, will focus on Dahlia. Dahlia is a vampire in the short stories. Anyone know which books she's from? Comment .. let me know.

Details: Write a fic with the topic of "In ____'s World…" If it was your story and you could make it anything you wanted it to be, what would you do? Would the Cullens be in Bon Temps? Would Lestat be a regular at Fangtasia? Just think of the most creative and fun story! Contest ends on November 23rd and there isn't a word limit.

Challenges
- Weekly One-Shot (Deadline: November 14)
Challenge: Hosted by the lovely Suki59, this week's challenge theme is "What’s the worst (or best) pick up line you’ve ever heard? Now put it in a story. " After you have completed your story, don't forget to post it in the, Weekly One-Shot thread in the Sookieverse Forum.
- When Human Meets Fangs (Deadline: November 27th)
Challenge: Area Five (a new fanfiction archive site) host their first challenge. They want stories of humans/non vampires meeting a vampire for the first time. It is not limited to just Sookie.
- Two Wrongs Make a Right (No Deadline)
Challenge: Have you ever though about writing a different pairing other than Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Eric? Have fun with the other characters in the Sookieverse.

Dahlia is in ATD - she's a judge on one of the cases in the vampire court with Bill. She's also in the short stories "Tacky" and "Bacon".
