4th of July Diaries (SVM) by Scattered21
Rather than the "lather, rinse and repeat" type romance, this is a wonderful piece. scattered21 has taken the personality of thousand year old Eric the vampire, and broken him into two characters - Sven, who has his darker characteristics, and Eric, who has his lighter characteristics. With those two characters, she's explores the idea of a polyandrous marriage (meaning a wife with two husbands) with Sookie. Set in the 70's, it has a wonderful feel for complex characters, difficult situations and realistic ways that things happen.  If you like fanfiction that is out of the ordinary, this is definitely one for you. -- peppermintyrose

This is a new SVM fic by CasandraMello. There are only 2 chapters up so far and I am anxiously awaiting more. It is a crazy new idea (literally) that you should take a minute and check out. Here's the description: "The lines between life and death just got mashed. A little tromp through crazy town with our favorite Viking and his caretaker, the always sweet, now starving writer, Sookie." So what the hell does that mean? Eric is a homeless crazy man who thinks he's a vampire and Sookie is the poor (telepathic) writer that, in a way, befriends him, leaving him red food everyday and has giving him an ugly blanket. There are so many possibilities as to where this will go I'm just giddy! Read and Review and give her some ideas for red foods...LOL -- Missus T

Adopt a Vampire (SVM) by Worthfighting4
Fifteen chapters of humour and great original characters. Lots of fun to be had with Pam, annoying Bill, and some great Eric and Sookie moments. Just a really nice story for when you fancy a fun read! -- Alison Northman Maille

Best Laid Plans (SVM) by TekniCAL
It is a story about Niall involving himself in every Supes life.  It takes place before BK 1, is AU but mostly Canon with a mix of TB in there.  The author, TekniCal has done a superb job of keeping the characters true while weaving her tale about Niall through all the books.  She says its nearly done, but I'd take a look and beg her to continue on.  LOL. -- TwistedTea

The lovely Miss Construed (@msconstrarsgard on Twitter) has put her Northman's Off the Market Support Stacie auction outtakes in one easy place! There are now two outtakes featuring the swoon-worthy Mr. Deliciousness & in the newest one the gang goes to Mykonos! One shot based on the popular show (Blind Date here in England) if you like to laugh, be teased by the Viking, see Bill get his and love Pam, then what are you waiting for? One of the funniest fics I have read with the best dialogue! (and some ESN too!!) Enjoy! -- Alison Northman Maille

There's No Place Like (SVM) by Zigster
Well it's Zigster for one! I love everything she writes and this is 30 lovely M rated chapters of Eric and Sookie naughtiness and fun... Sookie does the whole clicking her heels together and does indeed end up somewhere safe...she just doesn't know where she is...cue a sexy Viking Vampire in a robe... :) The Viking is at his teasing and sexy best and, for once, Sookie seems to realise that she needs him. Of course he has some interesting ways of convincing her ;) You'll read this time and time again.. (that's my three for today, thanks to my fellow recommendees (is that a word?) I have found loads of new authors and stories through Fanfictastic Friday and the Daily Updates, this is fuuun :)) -- Alison Northman Maille 

Three Graces and a Muse (Twi) by FarDareisMai2
This is a twific by FarDareisMai2 (FDM) that will draw you in. Here's the description: "It's been seven years since Edward left and he's about to find out that things have changed in his absence. Now Bella is caught between forgiving her past or following her future." Now, that description doesn't tell you several key things. First, there's a Carlisle shocker. Then - this story has one of the hottest Jaspers that I've ever read (he's referred to as Cavesper on twitter and he's fuckhot). When I first heard about him being in this fic I was like, meh. Then his character appeared and I want an entire fic just for him...Lastly, the Bella in this fic uses her destroyed heart in an adventurous way that will just gut you. I haven't decided yet if I want her to end up with Jas or Edward in this one - really. -- Missus T
