Before (SVM) by Mrs. I. Northman
This fic was completed a couple of days ago and it's too good to NOT say anything about it. It's a fic that I will read and re-read again many times. Before describes an AU where Sookie was raised by Niall and first met Eric when she was four. It has a unique writing style and an amazing storyline -it's all around, unforgettable. I’m definitely reading it again. As a matter of fact, whenever I'm sad I go back and read the chapters where Sookie was little, over and over again. --svmaddict
Bent But Not Broken (SVM) by Indigobuni
I have been reading this story for a while. It starts when Sookie returns from a horrible ordeal. Eric and her friends helps her to become stronger. It has a lot of action and drama. It's a very intense story!! It's also well written. Rated M. --nancy1210
Carnival of Rust (SVM) by Malanna
It's very angsty and usually I would avoid a story like that but it's so unique and original that I can't resist reading it. --svmaddict
Dead to My World (SVM) by Afalcone10
Dead to My World is an AU for book 4 of SVM, Dead to the World. I find it MUCH better than the original for many reasons, one of which is that afalcone10's Sookie is... likable. Her reactions make sense, they are logical albeit a little naive. That happens because the night Eric runs half naked and barefoot down her road, is the first night she ever meets a vampire. No Bill, no cheating with Lorena, no rape in the trunk of a car, no beating (yet) make this Sookie innocent, open, ready to fall head over hills for the Viking -in a nutshell, someone you can really relate to and want to protect. CH and her irrational plot devices have made us forget that SVM is really Sookie's story and she is the one we must relate to when reading the books. Afalcone10 brings that back to the reader, and it feels like coming home. --svmaddict
Halo Effect (SVM) by MissusT
This an AH story based on an Askars photo and her Eric is pretty much... Alex! Or the way we imagine Alex to be in real life.[Note: if you are reading this and you don't know who Alex is then you are in the wrong fandom!] --svmaddict
Healing Blood by BellaWriter7
I love this story for many reasons. It is set post "Dead and Gone", and the author has Sookie and Eric having to work through her PTSD, which is severe, and his difficulty understanding human emotional needs. They get a supe therapist which alone is worth the price of admission!! Eric is very much vampire in this - the first chapter lays it out plainly. Yet with Sookie, he is different. This author is so talented! She really gets her characters' internal struggles - their wants, needs, desires, nightmares and fears. All voices ring true. She is also, IMO, one of the few fanfic authors who invests her sex scenes with intense emotion to the point where I feel exhausted after reading it!!! This story is heartbreaking, intriguing, and hot! --LB123
Life Imitating Art (SVM) by Pfloogs
An AH story that I love, with Eric & Sookie working in a museum -and not just any museum, but The Met in NYC. It's very well-written, has a slow built-up (my favorite kind!) and it's really interesting not only because of the usual Eric/Sookie pairing but because of its setting too. --svmaddict
I adore this story. The best word I can use to describe it is smart. It's well written, and the character development is amazing. You will love this Sookie! She's independent, level-headed, professional, and all around fabulous. This Sookie doesn't whine and isn't perpetually indecisive and wishy-washy.
Life Imitating Art isn't a fall into bed ESNfest, but a story in which Sookie and Eric slowly get to know each other as they work together. That said, there is still plenty of sexual attraction and sexual tension. Eric is still hot, Lafayette is still quirky, Bill isn't evil, Felicia is an actual developed character, and Andre... Well, Andre is as creepy as ever.
If you haven't already, take some time to read this story. Pfloogs72 has done an amazing job and I think you will love it. –seasonblogs
Northman and the Nanny (SVM) by Vixenfae
This hasn't updated for sometime, but it's not complete and I refuse to give up hope in it -because it is just too good damn it! It's AH and I think the title says it all. --svmaddict
Sign Here by LindsayK
LindsayK had me at "Online shopping," the two opening words to this fic. In her attempt at PWP, our @scribeninja just could not follow through and had to give us a love story... and I'm NOT complaining! Well, technically, it's not finished yet, so you be the judge!
It's hot, sexy and promises angst and love. --Tvgirl.Nicole
This started as pure lemon but evolved into a great AH story with a tiny-bit of angst (just the way I like it!). Her UPS Eric has made me want to start on-line shopping! --svmaddict
Terminal Attraction (SVM) by Lubadub
It’s pure lemony fun, but turned out to be one of my favorite fics of all time is "Terminal Attraction" by Lubadub. Her Eric has a Barney Stinson quality that makes you fall in love with him and view his numerous (over one thousand!) trysts the way you see a cute kid that ate to much ice-cream: you think he is funny and adorable but you're absolutely giddy knowing that all this ice-cream can't go down without some tummy-ache and that when this happens, he will learn the importance of measure and of knowing when to stop! ;) --svmaddict
The Amateur (SVM) by Seastarr08
This is the sequel of "The Expert", is the home of Professor Sex and one of the BEST fics I've ever read! Seastarr is also doing some fantabulous outtakes on that story. --svmaddict
The Dead and all the Dying (SVM) by LaniLani
Vampire, AU story about how Eric and Sookie first met and what happened afterwards... Sookie was never with Bill in this fic, actually she considers him a douche and that alone would be enough reason for me to like it but the plot and the humor in it also make it an amazing fic! --svmaddict
The Heat is in the Tools (SVM) by Mss Construed
Miss Construed she has also managed to make me an Alcide lover in her The Heat is in the Tools AH fic. Eric does not exist in this story, the choice is between Alcide and Bill, so I think it's pretty obvious where my vote goes... --svmaddict
This is the Beginning (TB) by nhwriter
Technically it's not in our fandom, it's Trueblood, not SVM, but I consider that a minor detail so I mention it anyway. It gives a version of S3 of TrueBlood that is realistic and plausible and every sane (by sane I mean Team Eric) SVM reader is going to love where she is taking this! --svmaddict
Valkyrie (SVM) by S.L.
It has the most beautiful and elegant description of Eric that I have ever seen. It's a one shot, romance rather than lemons and it's E/S after his memories return.
If you don't like it I will send you my firstborn (not that I have kids :))
Seriously, it's THAT good. --Alison at Northman Maille
