I have a teeny tiny small request. Have you read any SVM fics that involved soldiers and war time? Like LindsayK's The Ribbon or Missus T's Leap of Faith? - So I got this little ditty from Jan of Arc for her fic Sookie, Interrupted. Most of Jan's fics are posted on EricNorthman.net and Live Journal. This story is a "What if?" fic, and it asks the question, "What if Sookie's parents had listened to the doctors and sent Sookie to a mental facility due to hearing voices. Click here for the tease.

Dead Pan Contest
Contest Recap
So this wonderful Dead Pan Contest that is hosted by Pixiegiggles and Nycsnowbird, challenged the Sookieverse to create the best Story/Movie parody using Eric and the gang. It started April 1 and ran until May 15. In all the contest received 39 contest entries, including 2 samples. After it ended there was a short read & review period as the judges gathered to check out all the fics that were submitted and deliberated. On May 27th, the finalist fics were announced. Normally voting would begin right now, but Fanfiction.net is having some technical difficulties right now. (Quel surprise!)

VOTING You are allowed FOUR total votes: one for best drama, one for best comedy, and your last two votes can be for either drama or comedy. The fic's category is denoted in parentheses next to its title on the poll. Poll will remain open until Thursday, June 10; and can be found at the top of the Dead Pan Contest profile when it is live.
SUPER-DUPER-UBER IMPORTANT! For those who have submitted entries, please keep in mind that the contest MUST remain anonymous for the duration of the vote. So please keep your lips sealed just a little longer, until the winners are announced.
