A Fate Worse Than Death by CassandraMello
This story has all my attention at the moment. There's no email update where I don't start bouncing with excitement, without even reading the chapter, and then when I do, you can find me glued to the screen thinking the whole thing over wondering What the hell is going on?! =D She has a very unique writing style. It doesn't feel like CH at all, it's simply hers and it's amazing. She has made a whole new world with the same old characters.
In this story, (pre revelation) Eric has been cursed and it looks like his human, a homeless human that wanders near Sookie's apartment. He is so disoriented, and yet he is not, but crazy is the least you would call a homeless who keeps telling you he's a viking vampire, sheriff of area 5, right? -- LaniLani
I have to admit that, at first sight, this is one crazy fic! But crazy in a good way. Soon the landscape clears and pieces of the puzzle are put in place... It's original, witty and the mystery that surrounds it makes you beg for more. Two thumbs up. -- svmaddict
An Introduction to Swirl & Daisy by m81170 (Twilight)
It's smart, it's funny, it's sweet, it's awkward. The story of two children that meet and fall in love. It's a twi-fic but other than the names, nothing else remains from the Twilight-Universe. So it doesn't matter if you're a fan of Twilight or if you hate Meyer's guts, this fic will captivate you. The story goes through all the awkward, self-conscious phases of puberty and it's a tale of such beauty I've rarely met on fanfic. -- svmaddict
Crossbones by Kristin Elizabeth (Night Huntress Series)
This Night Huntress fanfic tells the story of Cat getting her tattoo, and what she was thinking when she did it. It's a wonderful one-shot that is full of emotion and it tells a story that isn't covered in the books. Not to mention it's by one of my favorite fanfic writers! -- tradermare
Death Without a Work Permit by Thyra10
Anything I have to say about this story will be too little. Thyra10's reputation proceeds her: you should all know by now that her work is nothing but AA+. This is probably her best multi-fic to date. So if you haven't already read, favorited and alerted it, make yourself a favor and do it now! -- svmaddict
Java Jive by Yogagal
This is one of those stories that hooked me from the first chapter and I couldn't wait to read more. It's a delightful little tale, and one that uses my favorite book of all time in it; Still Life with Woodpecker. How could I not love it? It is one that I go back to and read time and again! -- A_Redhead_Thing
Life Imitating Art by pfloogs72
This is an AH/AU fic, where Sookie is an event planner for the Met in NYC. Eric is a sexy and (slightly) mysterious Greco-Italian art curator. They are thrown together by the powers that be and sparks fly. -- Math Princess
AH, extremely well-written. It's one of the few Sookieverse fics in which I, well, I actually like Sookie. Her only fault? How uptight she is. Thank God for a certain tall, blond and gorgeous though who's come to sweep her off her feet and loosen her up ;)
GO READ! One of the best stories out there!
p.s. Bill in this one is likeable AND gay. Did I convince you yet? -- svmaddict
Never Say Never by LindsayK
This story holds a lot of meaning for me in ways I cannot express. It is so beautifully written and delicately handled by the master. Lindsay has done an absolutely perfect job of taking such a difficult subject and making it something that you can't miss. She writes it with a care and love that has me riveted to my screen whenever a new chapter posts. I always make sure to keep a box of tissues handy, because I know I'm going to need them. Hats off to Lindsay and the heart-touching tale she is weaving. -- A_Redhead_Thing
Sookie Stackhouse's Facebook Feed by Suki59
This hilarious fic is for anyone who has a Facebook account and actually look at the news feed. For those who don't have one, the "Facebook News Feed" appears when you first log on and it tells you what your friends have been doing the last couple of minutes, whether they became friends with someone else, or fans of a site like Felipe de Castro became a fan of Fangtasia. I've laughed with every chapter she's added so far. At one point Sookie and her Facebook friends joined the "Veterans of the Were, Fae, and Civil War" groups. LOL! -- Sapfirerose
