Without getting too technical, this account syncs with the Fanfiction feeds (SVM and TB) and sends out new fics and chapter updates automatically. I am also able to Tweet updates and info when I come across it.
Since I work, in a public sector world and we are all about dashboards now ... I thought I'd create a sort of dashboard post for you guys. Dashboards are meant to be high level and easy to read (many times visually appealing). This dashboard post will report out every 30 days; and will include some interesting statistics I receive from the @SVMFanfic at account and other related statistics I have at my disposal.
I am calling this report the Top 30 at 30 because the main feature of it will be the Top 30 fanfiction stories clicked in the 30 days from feed. This first report won't be as visually appealing as I would like, but I will work on the best way to create the dashboard as I move along.
Transparency Disclaimer
Let me say that the @SVMFanfic account isn't perfect. Here are some known issues:
- I developed it to sync with Fanfiction.net. If that site is not working properly, then it won't send out any fics.
- Since Fanfiction.net did not set up their feed language (atom) properly, it does not always post chapter updates. repeat stories sometimes because of the way Fanfiction updates their feed.
- If you post your story via another site such as Fandomfiction.com or your personal blog; it will not automatically feed to the account.
OK ... enough techie chatter for now. Here's this month's Top 30 at 30.

So there you have it. I hope that next month the ranks and statistic numbers will go up. AND I hope you guys enjoy or want to enjoy seeing your fic in the Top 30 at 30!
What I found the most interesting is that there are a lot of fics with unfamiliar writers. Some are because they have really great titles like "Blood Sugar Sex Magick." Or they've been retweet by others .. like the recent chatter around "Waking Need" because it was written after the author read DITF.
I do want to give a big shout out to my girl, Chiisai-Kitty's Allegro for being on top of the list the longest before Waking Need was published.
I hope you guys enjoyed this.

I like this a lot (and not just because I'm on there...even if I am dancing around my room in my robe right now...and damn that sounds a little vain...). Question, I know you said that the top 30 at 30 will be the main focus, but is it possible to get other cool statistics and lists and junk? Just cause I think that kind of stuff is interesting :)
-Sydney
Hi Sydney: The goal is to include cool stats related to fanfic traffic. So your answer is definitely yes.
I also have ideas for lists that is coming down the pipeline. But not part of the Top 30 at 30 post.
This blog is always has something interesting going on, whether it's the Daily Updates, the Confessions, the very very soon to come Infamous GP posts. I'm always creating stuff to promote fics.
