The Daily Fanfiction Updates is a newsletter post that give SVM fans information about what is happening in the SVM and True Blood Fanfiction World. Here you will find news and tidbits, contests and challenges information, and recent fanfiction highlights. These updates posts are all inclusive and not only focused on Fanfiction.net. - Contest Extended: The First Blood Contest just announced that they are extending the submission deadline to October 12th. So those of you who are pounding away at the keyboard, or have thought of a story to write, you have time!
Just a few more days until Kiss a Cook Contest submission deadline. You can find out about the contests in the Contests and Challenges section.

- Weekly One-Shot (Deadline: September 26)
Challenge: Hosted by the lovely Suki59, this week's challenge theme is "Never cut what you can untie. – Joseph Joubert" After you have completed your story, don't forget to post it in the, Weekly One-Shot thread in the Sookieverse Forum.
- Two Wrongs Make a Right (No Deadline)
Challenge: Have you ever though about writing a different pairing other than Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Eric? Have fun with the other characters in the Sookieverse.
