The Daily Fanfiction Updates is a newsletter for SVM fans on information about what is happening in the SVM and True Blood Fanfiction World. Here you will find news and tidbits, contests and challenges information, and recent fanfiction highlights. These updates posts are all inclusive and not only focused on Fanfiction.net. - MVF Original Fiction Contest: MyVampFiction is a fanfiction archive site and blog that covers mulitiple categories including SVM and TB. Challenges
- Weekly One-Shot (Deadline: October 3)
Challenge: Hosted by the lovely Suki59, this week's challenge theme is "Have Sookie teach Eric something he didn’t know before." After you have completed your story, don't forget to post it in the, Weekly One-Shot thread in the Sookieverse Forum.
- When Human Meets Fangs (Deadline: November 27th)
Challenge: Area Five (a new fanfiction archive site) host their first challenge. They want stories of humans/non vampires meeting a vampire for the first time. It is not limited to just Sookie.
- Two Wrongs Make a Right (No Deadline)
Challenge: Have you ever though about writing a different pairing other than Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Eric? Have fun with the other characters in the Sookieverse.

New Fic > This story takes place right before the fae attack on Sookie. What if she was being driven to take control of her life and relationships instead of running? What if she had been brave and confronted Eric about her feelings and fears. What would have changed? Sookie will battle her own fears, Eric's feelings and possibly a new enemy or two.
