"I'm not sure if this has been recc'd, before, but I'm going to put it out there. It's probably one of the most original, and under-reviewed fics in SVM. And there are two Erics. Well, one is named Sven, but they're twins. It's AH, certainly OOC, and in a totally AU. Check it out, but check your judgmental side at the door!" -- seastarr08

"If you like original stories and NOT offended by heavy sexual materiel, this is deffo something you need to  read. Scattered21 brings out Eric and Sookie in their teen years along with Sven. Now a little about this man named Sven. I am not ashamed to say this but I LOVE Sven in this story more than I love Eric *ducks head* See Sven is Eric's twin. And twins are VERY competitive even when it comes to girls. *arches eyebrow suggestively* At first I am like why Sven but as you read the story I couldn't help falling deep for him. Back to story, So due to some awkward situation (Sven) and Eric and Sookie doesn't get to share too much time with each other. I was saying 'Why Sven WHY?' but inside I was hoping Sven  gets in the sack with them. *I am weird birdie you can't blame me*  Years later when they are all grown up the story picks up from there. Sven meets Sookie says sorry about the whole thing that happened years ago and Sookie likes what she sees in Sven *so do I* Eric comes back and ..... you'll just have to read and find out. "As much as we love CH - this is what SVM should have been. I can let myself like Sookie without wanting to slap her. Eric is as sexy as ever and isn't a psychopathic control freak (although he retains his vamp ownership issues) and Eric was 'made' by Godric instead of Appius - which right there is enough for me. The best thing to come out of TB is Godric. If you haven't read this story yet, you're seriously missing out. It's bright, it's funny, it's just plain good. It will suck you in and I defy anyone not to add this gem to their alerts list."

It is Romance & Humor which is my favorite combination.  I have to say an intelligent Sookie is appealing as well.  It follows the events in the book, but no Bill and Godric just came into it. I love this story and I love this author, out of all her work I think 'Bored to Death' is still my number one. She explains it far better than I ever could: 'I’m a ‘what if’ fan so for purposes of this story I went back to Dead Until Dark… What if Bill hadn’t had the chance to scare Sookie in regards to Eric? What if  Eric hadn’t tried to influence her from his throne? What if Eric hadn’t kicked that fangbanger, causing the feeding/raid incident? …for me the answer is simple. She’d have been just as relaxed and unfazed as she had been when she met Bill. …She might have treated Eric like ‘just another guy’. One simple act could have saved a lot of time and tears.' "Lubs has recently moved from Ff.net to WP, but that hasn't stopped her from producing more wonderful chapters in her Night Huntress fic Call Me Irresponsible. This is a great story and it is, if I remember correcting, the first All-Human fic of this fandom.  Lubs has taken our favorite characters Cat and Bones and tossed them together in what was supposed to be just a few days of free love as they participate in their friends wedding. *giggles* Of course it doesn't stay that way. I had a major Holy shitballs moment when Eric discovered she was most likely still alive as well - there are so many things that could be done with this story - I can't wait to see where it goes. "I just started reading stories by this fabulous author recently.  She writes the sweet, smutty, interesting stuff that I love most with a sense of humor. The category is my favorite romance / humor.  In this story, both Eric and Sookie are teachers, so it is not a teacher & student getting into a relationship.   There are some interesting twists in this story, such as Eric having a twin - Johan - and the story is not yet complete. She updates very reasonably often. I enjoy Sookie refusing other suitors.  To me, so far, this is drama where they face problems together; angst is where the problems separate them.  This rates in my favorite favorite stories of all time." -- Northwoman

Sookie is the brains and hadley uses her beauty as a glamour. These girls are survivalist. I highly recommend this story it's different from others. Sookie is brilliant & fearce and Eric's equal. Sookie realizess its the first time she's ever had sex with someone who loved her and then WHAM! the next chapter shows Sookie and Sam's first meeting. The rest of the chapters progress from their first date to Sookie's chance introduction to her future husband Eric Northman, and the latest chapter ends with Sookie's marriage. It's kind of like a SVM-themed version of 500 Days of Summer, except we're seeing Sookie spend a lot more than 500 days with the wrong guy. And don't worry ... even if you're not Sam's biggest fan (although I guarantee you will be if you read this FF) there is a lemon-inducing Eric to sample as well.
