- SVM Fanfic Avi for February: I can't remember if I sported the January twitter avatar for @SVMFanfic here. Created by the lovely Dazed-Rose and pictured on the right .. this is what has been grazing tweets for about a month. I really love all the avi's that have been created so far ... and all by volunteers!! If you are interested in doing the February avi, just give me a buzz.
This is perfect for those who are practicing to making banners.
- Looking for Readers and Reviews? Post a Monday Teaser! I haven't promoted the Monday Teasers forum in a while. I used to publish the "First Monday Teaser" every Monday but took it out and kept the Contests, Challenges, and Giveaways section as a permanent feature. Maybe I can find a way to bring it back. If you are a newbie writer and looking for more readers, then consider this forum thread. Every Monday writers post a snippet of their story for folks to read. It's a great way to gain more readers one story at a time AND it helps folks become more familiar with you.

News: Write a story that is different from the rest. And by different, we mean it follows a different story line or portrays the SVM characters differently from the status quo -- the common themes in SVM fanfiction repertoire. Submission period ends on February 25th.
- Valentine's Fae Contest: Click here for details
News: Write a fairy tale story with Eric and Sookie. Submission period extended to February 25th. Looking for ideas? Try Children Myths and Fairy tales from around the world, or you can just type "fairy tales" in the title search and more books will pop up in Project Gutenberg.
- Home Sweet Home Contest: Click here for details
News: Write a story about any or all of the SVM characters and put them in a place in which you’ve lived. Submission period hasn't started. It begins on February 15th.

My fanfiction affiliate MyVampFiction.com (Love these gals!) are doing another Original Fiction contest. The challenge is to write an original erotica story (not PWP) that has a paranormal element. Submission period ends TODAY January 31st. There are some great prizes, so check it out!
