» Alive After Dark by Rebelina
"I just think this story is a pure joy; I really love all the cutesy moments between Eric and Sookie without the added drama. All in all, it's a nice smooth read and a different take on the SVM world." -- Symphonic_Poem
» Can't Stop the Waves by Miss Construed
"I enjoy most every story by this author. This is fun because I have been to Hawaii and can picture all the beautiful scenery and how gorgeous Eric would look in board shorts and surfing. I like the personality of Eric in this story. It is sexy and confidant, yet sweet. The sexual tension is thick and something this author does so well." -- Northwoman
» Golden Gothic by RoseMac ♥ ♥
"Golden Gothic is unlike any other fanfic I've read before; it's set in the 1930's, a time period that was much simpler and social constraints put modern male/female interactions on a much different plane. Sookie is pulled along for the ride when Jason decides to sell the family farm and try to make it in Hollywood, where she meets Eric and Pam Northman, a dynamic brother-sister acting duo - who could resist?! RoseMac's writing is phenomenal and her interpretation of the characters are to die for!" -- Math Princess
"Those who follow me on Twitter and actually talk to me know I'm a big fan of classic movies. I tend to spend most of my Sundays lost in whatever is playing on TCM or AMC. So when I found out about Golden Gothic in December, the story went straight to my 'to be read' list. What I like about this story besides the 'classic movie' storyline, is how RoseMac chose to depict this era. Her story is realistic to the actual events that were happening in Hollywood at the time, such as the effects of the depression, and the gambling and gangster activities. Her writing inflects the mood of that time, including how a character may react to certain events as if they are actually in the 30s. What makes me really like a story is good storytelling. And I think that RoseMac is on her way of joining my list of fanfiction writers that I believe are storytellers!
I recently wrote a massive review to this fic around Chapter 10, and whatever I write here won't be as descriptive as what I wrote there. So if you still need convincing check it out and then go and read Golden Gothic, you won't be disappointed." -- Sapfirerose
» How Do Porcupines Mate by EtheHunter
"I am a sucker for a good non E/S pairing story, and Porcupines is that and so much more. A side story of her lovely Growing New Vines, EtheHunter has created an interesting pairing between Pam and Stan. Her Pam is slightly neurotic in a lovable way, and her Stan is the nerd of everyone's dreams. If you're looking for something a little different than the norm, you will definitely enjoy this!" -- Miss Construed
» Sookie the Vampire Slayer by Sleepy Lotus
"This is one of those stories where you don't want to give away too much because it's better to just read it and let the story take you there. It's a beautifully written story with lots of action and a moving ending. Just 10 chapters and recently completed." -- momzombie
» Stay Dead Already by Saint Eric
"The first entry folks! Come, bask in the magnificence of Eric Northman as he switches clothing at random with no rhyme or reason and medical terms up the wazoo! It has a shower scene.....:D" -- St. Eric
» The Adventures of Derek Southman by Miral
"This is a fic for poking fun at fanfiction writing and the pornalicious turns it can make. You will never read "panty dropping smile" the same way again." -- peppermintyrose
» The Cold Before Dawn by Tradermare
"At the risk of sounding biased, I recently finished Betaing a brilliant story by my dear friend, Tradermare. She just completed the story, and hit 300+ reviews. This is a story deserving of MANY more reviews and readers!
What I love about TCBD is the way she managed to switch the roles of Sookie and Eric, making Sookie the Sheriff, and Eric the telepath, but twisted it all in a whole new way that was beyond what the original characters were.
The way the last couple of chapters came together, I found myself thinking it was really clever and smart, not to mention the story just rocks as a whole!" -- Kristin Elizabeth
» You Should Be Mine by AshleySue
"This is a canon story, that takes up a what if, in Definitely Dead when Quinn came to pick Sookie up for a date and asked Sookie if she was Eric's, she didn't say "Not". It uses lots of dialog from the book but tells a different story which I much prefer. It has just reached a point at Rhodes that I love." -- Northwoman
