Hi my name is Dazed-Rose and I'm a SVM addict ...
What was your first fanfiction story?
I can’t for the life of me remember when I started goggling Eric Northman and anything to do with the Sookieverse but I think one of the first links I found was http://www.ericnorthman.net/fanfic/ I clicked on Terri Botta's Let Love In and I was hooked. I didn’t stop reading till I finished, and from then on I read anything I got my hands onto.I moved from en.net over to ff.net and the TB wiki forums and then onto Twitter. I’ve expanded my addiction to actually helping out one of our beautiful addicts, SmittenKitten in running the awesome svm-universe website. So I’m totally immersed into the svm world, and I couldn’t be happier.
What are typical characteristics of the stories you like to read?
I will pretty much read any fanfic that falls under the Eric/Sookie pairing, though I have started reading some Alcide fics too, due mostly to Miss Construed and TXone awesome works. I love the fluffy stuff, and won’t back down from angst. I think well done angst adds so much to the story and it really helps character development. ‘What doesn’t kill make you stronger’. And of course I love the lemons we have going in svm land... so much better then the stuff I was reading previously. I tend to go off either the summaries on fanfic, or by recommendations from the girls on Twitter.

Recommend one fic and tell us why you like it
It is so hard to just pick one out of all the awesome works that are available to us addicts. The one fic that stands out for me is Dead without a Work Permit by Thyra10. The reason I love this AH fic is because Thyra has used the main plot points in the SVM books to send Human Sookie and Eric on an awesome ride. It’s great to see how she messes with the books and has created perfect replicates of Book Sookie and Eric in her fic. It is great fun to see how she brought in all the characters we love (and hate) into this AH world, and she has done a brilliant job. I love waiting for updates, but I think we are all sitting waiting for our favourite fics to update. I know I do…-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like hearing what other people are reading. It's really how I find more. Sometimes I think I've read every single story out there, then I hear about new ones. (And Addicted to Love is my favorite!!)
