Always For You by MakesMyHeadSpin
I found this fabulous story last night, after reading Hot For Teacher. It is another Eric/Sookie fic by the amazing makesmyheadspin.
Eric and Sookie have been penpals since they were eight years old. Then on Sookie's eighteenth birthday, which also happens to be their anniversy of their friendship, she gets the best present ever when she learns that Eric is coming to the States to visit. They've been best friends for ten years and the friendship has turned into love. They travel across country together during the summer, discovering not only the wonders of the USA but the wonders of each other on a more intimate level.
The writing is just amazing and the chemistry between Eric and Sookie is enough that after reading the juicy chapters, I feel like I should be either taking a cold shower or smoking a cigarette. If you aren't reading this one already, you need to be. -- SlackerDee
Couples Therapy by Evenflo78
This fic is killing me with the slow build. The sexual tension is over the top and has me squirming. Eric and Sookie have been friends for years, they own a business and a home together. I think everybody knows they are going to end up together but them. Now Amelia has managed to make them attend couples counselling to help them with the fact that neither has lasting relationships. Bahahahaha The doctor is no dummy; he catches on right away - or maybe Amelia told him. Anyway, I hold my breath every time I read a chapter until I start laughing. It is just a fabulous story and funny. -- Northwoman
Drained by Suki59
I`m sure most of you are reading this story already, but if this by some odd chance has escaped you - here are the reasons for you to start reading.
Suki59 is a great writer with an imagination most of us envy her. She has great plots, romance, angst and great Erics and Sookies (not to mention her great Octavia and Barry and her Portia and Tray :-D) in her stories. Now she has cooked up a new lovely story for us, this one taking a deviation from book 1.
Bill has been poisoned by silver nitrate in True Blood, and later drained and killed, and Sookie goes to Eric for help - only to find him poisoned too. She saves him and they have to hide out together.
Apart from being a great writer, Suki59 is also a very fast writer (another thing to envy her). A chapter a day is perfect for a story that has you biting your nails to the knockles. -- Thyra10
I like this vamp story that takes a variation on the original. It is a building of a relationship between Eric and Sookie, they are both in trouble and working together. That is exactly what I love to see. It also could be that I seem to be in love with everything written by Suki59 and she is an amazingly consistent updater which helps the pain of my addiction. -- Northwoman
Drown by Erullisse
This shows the dark side of Niall, punishing Eric in a grimly manner. One fall I hardly doubt the viking can ever climb out of. I hope this will have a sequel. Be warned, this is a dark story. -- Kira Kiralina
So I Married a Dead Guy by Hippychik
This is a romance between Sookie and Eric that starts after the bonding and pledging. What I like about it is that it's a different Sookie than book canon. As the wry title suggests, Sookie's not all torn up about being pledged to Eric. She's trying to figure it out and getting closer to Eric and it's really very sweet. And its rated M so there are lots of good lemons! -- BellaWriter7
What Dreams Are Made Of by Makesmyheadspin
A fabulous series of Sookie's dreams, involving of course a certain viking.
These are dreams so there are different alternate universes and out of characters. All of them are fresh and inciting.
It is posted in the True Blood section, still very well written. And fast updated.
Makesmyheadspin is a prolific and talented writer. -- Kira Kiralina
