The Daily Fanfiction Updates is a newsletter post that give SVM fans information about what is happening in the SVM and True Blood Fanfiction World. Here you will find news and tidbits, contests and challenges information, and recent fanfiction highlights. These updates posts are all inclusive and not only focused on Fanfiction.net. - Latest on the Contests: Just one more day and it's the end of the submission period for the Seven Deadly Sins Contest. There are currently 6 entries in the contest, will you be the deadly number 7? You have until 11:59pm on September 1 to send in your entry. - Tooting My Horn: So I've been doing this SVM fic pimping thing since March. And while my Daily Updates need to get back on schedule, which I'm hoping is soon now that summer-slacking is winding down, I still think I can safely say that I've been keeping you guys abreast of the latest fic news, contests, challenges and updates for our fandom since way back then. Not to forget, a ton of recommendations to boot too. So if you wouldn't mind helping me to spread the word a little that for SVM recs and the latest news in the Sookieverse, people can check out My SVM Addiction, I'd really appreciate it. My birthday is in a couple of days and seeing a spike in my analytics and blog "followers" (currently at 60) would be an awesome gift.

Challenges
- Weekly One-Shot (Deadline: September 5)
Challenge: Hosted by the lovely Suki59, this week's challenge theme is "A guy knows he's in love when he loses interest in his car for a couple of days. (author unknown)" After you have completed your story, don't forget to post it in the, Weekly One-Shot thread in the Sookieverse Forum.
- Club Dead Fanfiction Challenge
(Deadline: End of True Blood Season 3)
Challenge: Created by the SVM Addicts, the challenge is to create a one shot inspired by Club Dead or even True Blood season 3. It could be 'What If' or 'Behind the Scenes' or whatever you imagine takes you.
- Two Wrongs Make a Right (No Deadline)
Challenge: Have you ever though about writing a different pairing other than Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Eric? Have fun with the other characters in the Sookieverse.
