These are the entries to the 7 deadly sins contest. I HAVE read and enjoyed them all. Yes, I like my sins. So I suggest everyone, read, review and enjoy these naughty stories. -- Northwoman
"Eric finds little joy in feeding on the willing and Julia decides to liven up his evening by being unwilling. Julia may be just 'playing', but Eric plays for keeps.
I know some of you really like Sookie and do not like to see Eric paired with an original character, but I think if you give this story a shot you will enjoy it. I am getting really good feedback about Julia's character." -- Cherokee Viking
"I know that a lot of people don't like the idea of Eric paired with women other than Sookie. I don't usually either. But this is such an awesome fic that I really not only don't mind, but have come to like Julia and laugh with her antics.
Julia is a college student in Dallas, working as part of a buffet for vampires at hotel Carmilla. Yep, remember that girl in S2 who tried to fake being scared and unwilling? What if she wasn't a stupid fangbanger but a smart -yet dangerously naive- girl who was just trying to earn some money for her college tuition fees? What if she did manage to be 'really, really good at it'?
Julia manages to hold our Viking's interest who decides that the girl with the attitude reminds him too much of Pam to let her slip away. So he takes a pet. But the pet has a mind of its own, while Pamela decides she can finaly decorate his house in shades of lime and yellow and Godric butts in, introducing the 'Womanly Art of Vampire Feeding' -a book that Julia eyes with suspicion. Favorite and well-known characters in hilarious situations that very few people have dared put them in before. The pre-dawn game of Monopoly between Julia, Pam and Godric at Dallas while Eric is playing Yatzee with the Queen in NOLA is FTW. So is Bill barging in while.... nah, you'll have to read it to find out what happens. Human/Vampire, Alternate Universe." -- svmaddict
This new fic caught my eye. It is the first story by this author. Eric is opening a club with his best friend Pam. Sookie works part-time at Merlotte's but is a writer. Eric meets Sookie and is smitten. I am twitterpated by this story. Sookie is smart, Eric is sexy. Their banter is fun. Bill is a douchebag, mind fuck. It works for me. -- Northwoman
This is the author's first fanfiction story. She updates literally every single day. Her Sookie is like book Sookie, no needless spending of Eric's money and able to stand on her own two feet. I have been following for the last 63 days and I think it is great, especially for a first time writer. -- Momma2Leos
"I've been following this from the beginning and it has seriously sucked me in. Sookie in this fic is likable for a change, she's not as stubborn and isn't fighting Eric every step of the way. It's hard to find the words to explain how exceptional this fic is, and it's their first!" -- blueiris
"As much as I love CH, she just totally ignore the fact that after an experience like the one Sookie had with the faes, she just had to be broken. Not only physically, but emotionally too. This Fanfic, just shows that. Don't get me wrong sometimes I want to smack Sookie in the head too. If you are not too happy with what happens next in the SVM (The one according to CH) this is a great alternative and a great story. Believe me It leaves you wanting for more. But with a new way to see what an experience like that can do to a human being (well kind of, Sookie is part faery). It does brings closure" -- Dzoe
"This is the sequel to a post DAG fic - Home Sweet Dead. Eric and Sookie have spent five glorious years away from the vampire political scene, so they work together really well. The other important thing is that they are equal partners. Rose Mac has made sure that neither of them have lost anything in that transition to a relationship, as so often happens in fics.
As a result, Eric is his endearingly pragmatic self, while Sookie has learned to cope far better with what life with a vampire throws at her. Rose Mac has also given serious thought to plot and characters, and it shows. Truly, an excellent read. " -- peppermintyrose
"This writer has been recommended by thesookieverse.com, but I find it so amazing that I want to further enhance your statement. His name is RoseMac she writes Eric and Sookie in a mature manner and so different. And there are many amazing writers, I do not know why your writing touched me so much, the stories are interesting and I think everyone should read.
This story Eric and Sookie fled after D & G, but now they are back to solve mysterious murders of Supes. This story is complete and there is a sequence called Here Today Tomorrow Dead." -- Lyta
"I am really proud of all the great fics that we have from the I Write the Songs contest. Everyone is doing such a great job - the authors and the judges." -- Northwoman
"I always enjoy reading contest entries. This contest is wrapping up in the next few days. I confess I haven't read all the entries, but I have enjoyed every one that I have. I will read them all as this is a love of mine. In fact, I am trying to finish up writing an entry. So read these stories, some saucy and some sweet, that are Eric & Sookie fanfiction." -- Northwoman
"This is a continuation of a one shot that vikinglover elle wrote. This one is all about Sookie leaving her husband Bill, who's a rather obsessive and controlling type, and taking up with his cousin, Eric. Much emotional pain and torture thanks to that decision is visited on our favourite couple.
One of the things vikinglover elle well is makes Eric slippery as an eel, as well as dogged and persistent. For many chapters now, Sookie has been asking Eric questions, and like the Artful Dodger, he distracts her with something else. That's not something often seen in fanfic - Book Eric is taken at his word that he wants to talk, despite never actually telling Book Sookie anything. For that alone, it's worth reading. It's a great read otherwise, as the author doesn't pull punches, and throws in a twist or two." -- peppermintyrose
"This is the first story I read by this author who is a favorite of mine. It is complete, AH. In this story, Sookie is a cook at a restaurant where Eric is an owner. She was hired by Pam. She moves into her new apartment in Northman Towers and runs into - guess who? And then who turns up at the restaurant? This Sookie is fun and smart, but a virgin. Bill is the douche we all love to hate. Eric is sexy and smart - what else could I possibly need?" -- Northwoman
"This one is coming to an end and that makes me really sad. I just have two words about it BAMF ALCIDE." -- A_Redhead_Thing
"Ok, this is a great fic. Far West, salons and Eric Northman on his horse, 'The Sheriff'. While Pam *is* the Sheriff in the small town of Desire and Sookie the widow of one Mr. William Compton (yes, Bill is already dead on the first chapter, how cool is that?) forced to work as a singer in Sam Merlotte's salon to pay off her husbands debt in cards. And when Eric makes his appearance in the dusty horizon, the town's name, Desire, starts to make sense.
So, since this is a great fic, I can't understand how come it only has about 80 reviews. More people should get to know it and read it because the writing is very good, the era is represented in a very realistic way and hellooooo people: Eric in lonesome cowboy mode!
Proud, stubborn Sookie plus rogue, drifter Eric make sparkles fly!" -- svmaddict
"This is a sequel to the Ribbon. I love that we get to see Sookie's side of the events that unfold. She's a tough chick and I love that about her! It's a pretty awesome story!!!" -- A_Redhead_Thing
