The Daily Fanfiction Updates is a newsletter for SVM fans on information about what is happening in the SVM and True Blood Fanfiction World. Here you will find news and tidbits, contests and challenges information, and recent fanfiction highlights. These updates posts are all inclusive and not only focused on Fanfiction.net. - I'm Back! Sorry for the delay again! I'm really seriously thinking of adding some staff to this blog to help churn out some posts so that I don't fall behind. In any case, with Thanksgiving (hope you had a good one), the flu, and some of the other projects; I neglected my blog for a minute. So to celebrate being back, and to get on a better schedule, I've posted the SVM Addict Confession by Math Princess. And I have more scheduled to post soon. So this blog will be up and running sooner than you think. ;)
- Contest Winners! I need to hand some congratulations out so many contest winners! I finally finished the contest packages for I Write the Songs and the First Blood Contest! There are too many to name so please please check out the contests packages to see the banners of the winning stories. And in the case of the First Blood Contest, the bonus banners!
- Targeted Fic News: I promised to send this out on behalf of Sweet Sookie right before I got sick. Recently she has received PMs about her story Cop Out that lead her to believe it may be targeted. So she's edited the story to remove some M content. So please bare with her while she's going through this period and be sure to send a note (via review or PM) to let her know we support her.

- Stephanie's Fanfic Contest: Click here for details (on EricNorthman.net)
Details: Write a fic with the topic of "In ____'s World…" If it was your story and you could make it anything you wanted it to be, what would you do? Would the Cullens be in Bon Temps? Would Lestat be a regular at Fangtasia? Just think of the most creative and fun story! Contest ends on December 4th and there isn't a word limit.

News: Newbie writer contest. Seven entries. Submission deadline extended to December 12th. Go to TheSookieverse.com for official news and if you are know of newbies thinking of writing, encourage them to enter. It's fun!
- Valentine's Fae Contest: Click here for details
News: Write a fairy tale story with Eric and Sookie. Submission period is December 6th to January 21, 2011.

Challenge: Hosted by the lovely Suki59, this week's challenge theme is "A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for. --John Shedd" After you have completed your story, don't forget to post it in the, Weekly One-Shot thread in the Sookieverse Forum.
- Two Wrongs Make a Right (No Deadline)
Challenge: Have you ever though about writing a different pairing other than Sookie/Bill or Sookie/Eric? Have fun with the other characters in the Sookieverse.
