Writers know who's out there reading and reviewing their stories, but readers like me end up interacting with other readers through community tools like Twitter. That's how I meet this next confesser, dancinchick32. Hi my name is dancinchick32 and I'm a SVM addict ...

What was your first fanfiction story?

Let me think...... The first fan fiction story I read was Let Love In by Terri Botta. I actually found the story while browsing the web. I came across True Blood fan Wiki and there were all these stories and I was amazed lol. I completely feel in love with Let Love In and after this story I did some more browsing and I found my way over to FF.net :D I'm so happy I did because there a some amazing writers in our little fandom and FF is completely addicting and I'm hooked.

What are typical characteristics of the stories you like to read?

Well...... I usually read the summaries and if they sound good I start reading, or I get some amazing recommendation from the wonderful girls on twitter. I'm a huge Eric fan, so I will pretty much read any story the falls under the Eric/Sookie pairing. Although I have read some with Alcide. I LOVE the fluffy romantic stuff because I'm definitely a happily ever after kind of girl! :D When I read angst I hate it at the time.... lol but I like it because it adds so much to the story and it keeps the readers on their toes. And of course I LOVE the Lemons. And some of these amazing writers can write some kinky the lemons and I Love it! lol

Recommend one fic and tell us why you like it.

Wow..... deciding which fic to recommend is so hard because I LOVE everything I have read so far and I would recommend them all. :D There are so many talented writers in this fandom and I can only wish I was that talented. Well the one I would recommend is Studybuddies by Lindsay K. Lindsay is such a talented writer and this story just makes me smile. It has the perfect blend of of all the things I love.... happy fluffy moments, angst I love to hate, and some really HOT Lemons. I absolutely LOVE Nerd Eric. The really interesting twist about this story is that Eric is a Virgin when the story starts. Crazy, I know. But he is absolutely wonderful and pretty much the perfect man. :D I highly recommend that everyone reads this story because you won't be disappointed!!

... The SVM Addicts are a group of SVM fans who bravely confessed their fanfiction addiction to this blog to help tell a story about the great fanfiction we have in SVM World. You can find most of the addicts (about 22 of them) confessions posted here. In the next couple of weeks I'll be publishing the rest of the confessions I have right now. 


The SVM Addicts group have turned into a little team for this blog who have helped to produce popular articles like SVM Addicts Take On: Alcide Herveaux and SVM Addicts Take On: Pamela Ravenscroft.

Going forward, I will be asking active SVM Fanfic readers if they would like to confess, instead of taking volunteers. I'm looking for folks who don't mind promoting others. And also would like to help produce more collaboration posts in the new year.
